M2 William Paterson University downs M2 Marist College, 6-3

Eric Simone finished with two points to lead M2 William Paterson University to a 6-3 victory over M2 Marist College.

In the losing effort, M2 Marist College was led by Anthony Farrar, who racked up two goals. Farrar scored the first of his two goals short handed at 7:47 into the first period to make the score 1-1. M2 Marist College played down a man on Max Henry's interference. Brett Kaiser picked up the assist. Farrar's next tally short handed made the score 5-3 M2 William Paterson University with 18:47 left in the third period. Kaiser assisted on the tally.

M2 William Paterson University stifled M2 Marist College's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. M2 William Paterson University forced M2 Marist College goalie Justin Larkin to work between the pipes, taking 51 shots.
