M3-Ramapo College pulls away in second, rolls over M3-Hofstra University, 7-0

M3-Ramapo College used a three-goal second period to put away M3-Hofstra University, 7-0.

Keith Gay spearheaded the defensive effort for M3-Ramapo College, as he did not allow a puck past him and made 26 saves for the shutout. The solid play of Gay will be reflected in his goals against average, which pre-game was 3.34.

Dmitry Danilchik had two goals and one assist to lead M3-Ramapo College. Danilchik scored the first of his two goals at 24 seconds into the first period to make the score 1-0 M3-Ramapo College. Marc Concato picked up the assist. Danilchik's next tally made the score 5-0 M3-Ramapo College with 7:18 left in the third period. Zachary OConnor provided the assist.

M3-Ramapo College excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. M3-Hofstra University was unable to stop M3-Ramapo College from sending pucks towards the net, and M3-Ramapo College eventually piled up 50 shots on goal. M3-Ramapo College additionally got points from Nolan Ouellette, who also finished with one goal and one assist.
