M3-Ramapo College uses early goal to top M3-Fordham University, 2-0

M3-Ramapo College took the lead against M3-Fordham University in the first period and maintained it until the end of the game to secure a tight 2-0 victory.

A goal 6:00 into the first period by Marc Concato proved to be the game winner, and powered M3-Ramapo College to the victory. An interference penalty on Nick Allardi had put M3-Ramapo College on the power play. Keith Henning picked up the assist.

Keith Gay spearheaded the defensive effort for M3-Ramapo College, as he did not allow a puck past him and made 49 saves for the shutout. Gay certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 3.03 entering the contest.

M3-Ramapo College was paced by Concato, who racked up one goal.

M3-Ramapo College excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances.

Matthew Rose also scored for M3-Ramapo College. More assists for M3-Ramapo College came via Nolan Ouellette, who had one.
