M2 Merrimack College holds on for 2-1 win against M2 Boston College

M2 Boston College tried to dig itself out of a two-goal hole, but M2 Merrimack College held on for a 2-1 victory.

M2 Merrimack College made the score 2-0 on a goal by Anthony Antonetti at 15:31 in the second period, and M2 Boston College got as close as 2-1 when Allen Taylor scored 8:22 into the third period.

M2 Merrimack College was led by goalie Derek DeCastro, who finished with 39 saves while allowing one goal. DeCastro certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 3.25 entering the contest.

M2 Merrimack College's penalty kill excelled, as M2 Merrimack College gave up one goal despite allowing seven power plays.
