M2 Westfield State University holds on for 4-3 win against M2 Rhode Island College

M2 Westfield State University survived a determined comeback attempt by M2 Rhode Island College on the way to a 4-3 win.

M2 Westfield State University made the score 4-1 on a goal by Connor Sweeney at 11:45 in the second period, and M2 Rhode Island College got as close as 4-3 when Jared Vadenais scored 10:16 into the third period.

M2 Westfield State University got the win with help from a great game by Schyler Reilly, who had one goal and two assists. Reilly scored 1:15 into the second period to make the score 2-1 M2 Westfield State University. Sweeney provided the assist.

M2 Westfield State University's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on seven M2 Rhode Island College power plays. M2 Westfield State University could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 14 minutes in penalties during the game.

M2 Westfield State University also got points from Sweeney, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Others who scored for M2 Westfield State University included Anthony Aspromonti and Matthew Arena, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for M2 Westfield State University were Joseph Santaniello, Colin Pierce, CJ Kenny, and Tyler Reopel, who contributed one each.

M2 Rhode Island College excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances.
