M3-Life Univeristy pulled out a 3-2 (OT) overtime victory over the M3-Tampa-University of Spartans on a clutch goal by Mark Pavelek.

M3-Life Univeristy's penalty kill excelled, as M3-Life Univeristy gave up zero goals despite allowing six power plays.

M3-Life Univeristy was led by Pavelek, who racked up one goal. Pavelek scored 47 seconds into overtime to make the score 3-2 M3-Life Univeristy. Jarett Cicirello picked up the assist.

M3-Life Univeristy stifled M3-Tampa-University of's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

Others who scored for M3-Life Univeristy included Justin Lee and Chase Quinlan, who each put in one. In addition, M3-Life Univeristy received assists from Mitchell Carpenter and Travis Grace, who contributed one each.

The Spartans put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow M3-Life Univeristy to score on any of its four power plays. The defensemen of M3-Tampa-University of were also effective in M3-Life Univeristy's zone, and came away with two goals.
