M2 Dayton University of gutted out a close 3-2 win against M2 Cincinnati University of.

Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Scott Mcaliney secured the win for M2 Dayton University of with a goal in the second period.

Mcaliney had a great game for M2 Dayton University of, netting two goals.

M2 Dayton University of put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow M2 Cincinnati University of to score on any of its three power plays. M2 Dayton University of's defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in two goals. With 39 shots on target during the contest, M2 Dayton University of exceeded the 0.3 shots it averages per game this year.

M2 Dayton University of also got points from Jack Newtown, who also racked up one goal and one assist. In addition, M2 Dayton University of received assists from henri beaudoin, who had three and David Nowak and Hunt Lucas, who contributed one each.
