Mcgervey nets hat trick, leads M2 Dayton University of to 7-1 win over M2 Wright State University

M2 Wright State University could not stop M2 Dayton University of's Matthew Mcgervey, who tallied a hat trick in a 7-1 win.

Mcgervey notched his first tally zero seconds into the first period. He then added goals at 6:55 into the second and at 9:40 into the second.

M2 Wright State University's power play was ineffective against M2 Dayton University of's penalty kill, which allowed zero goals while shorthanded.

M2 Dayton University of stifled M2 Wright State University's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. M2 Dayton University of forced M2 Wright State University goalie Connor Osowski to work between the pipes, taking 51 shots. M2 Dayton University of surpassed its usual scoring output this season. M2 Dayton University of has scored at the pace of 2.7 goals per game during the current campaign.
