Chicago Fury (mm) vanquishes Milwaukee Jr. Admirals (mm) in shootout, 3-2 (1-0 SO)

Three periods of regulation and an overtime session were not enough to settle matters as Chicago Fury (mm) defeated Milwaukee Jr. Admirals (mm) in a shootout 3-2 (1-0 SO).

The shootout lasted for 18 attempts between the teams.

Chicago Fury (mm) came back from a one-goal deficit to capture the victory. Chicago Fury (mm) was down 2-1 after a goal by Milwaukee Jr. Admirals (mm)'s Alex Murray at 5:50 in the third period. Chicago Fury (mm) knotted things up at 2-2 on a goal by Patrick Goggin at 12:43 in the third period.

Goggin was all over the ice for Chicago Fury (mm), as he registered two goals in the win.

More assists for Chicago Fury (mm) came via Kevin Barrett, who had one.

Milwaukee Jr. Admirals (mm) managed to stay out of the box better than usual, registering one minor for two minutes in penalty time. Milwaukee Jr. Admirals (mm) finished below its season average of 7.0 penalty minutes per game. Milwaukee Jr. Admirals (mm) forced Chicago Fury (mm) goalie Nikolaos Manetas to work between the pipes, taking 36 shots.
