M2 San Jose State University beats M3-Santa Rosa Junior College 5-4 after comeback scare

M3-Santa Rosa Junior College tried its best to erase a three-goal deficit, but M2 San Jose State University would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 5-4.

M2 San Jose State University made the score 4-1 on a goal by Zach McKeithan at 8:24 in the second period, and M3-Santa Rosa Junior College got as close as 4-3 when Josiah Nikkel scored 4:39 into the third period.

Schuyler Krawczuk had two goals to lead M2 San Jose State University to victory. Krawczuk's tallies came at 13 seconds into the second period to make the score 1-0 M2 San Jose State University and on the power play 16:00 into the third to make the score 5-4 M2 San Jose State University.

M2 San Jose State University kept M3-Santa Rosa Junior College's goalie busy throughout the game, and Christopher Tomaszewski made 34 saves on 39 shots.
