M2 Southern Illinois-Edwardsville's comeback falls short, M2 Miami(OH) University wins 5-4

M2 Southern Illinois-Edwardsville almost clawed its way back from a three-goal deficit, but M2 Miami(OH) University managed to pull out a 5-4 win in the end.

M2 Miami(OH) University led by three goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when M2 Miami(OH) University's Chad Olson scored at 10:44 in the second period to put M2 Miami(OH) University up 4-1.

Michael Frenzel had a great game for M2 Miami(OH) University, netting two goals. Frenzel's tallies came at 2:52 into the first period to make the score 1-0 M2 Miami(OH) University and 17:33 into the third to make the score 5-4 M2 Miami(OH) University.

M2 Miami(OH) University struggled on the penalty kill, allowing M2 Southern Illinois-Edwardsville to score three power play goals on five chances. M2 Miami(OH) University got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game.
