Berger leads M2 Miami(OH) University over M2 Ohio University, 9-0

Behind a great game by Jimmy Berger, who had one goal and three assists, M2 Miami(OH) University defeated M2 Ohio University, 9-0.

Berger beat Joseph Juratovac with a shot 3:41 into the second period to make the score 1-0 M2 Miami(OH) University. Chad Lehigh picked up the assist. Berger dished an assist on Andrew Dower's goal that made the score 2-0 M2 Miami(OH) University at 12:26 into the second period. He then added assists on Tim Spicola's goal at 13:29 into the second and on Spicola's goal at 14:04 into the third.

Taylor Ley frustrated M2 Ohio University's offense all game, and stopped 26 shots en route to a shutout. Ley managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 1.2 prior to the game.

M2 Miami(OH) University put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow M2 Ohio University to score on any of its three power plays. M2 Miami(OH) University's offense rang up 36 shots on M2 Ohio University's net.
