M3-Southern Connecticut State beats M2 Trinity College 5-4 after comeback scare

M2 Trinity College tried to dig itself out of a four-goal hole, but M3-Southern Connecticut State held on for a 5-4 victory.

M3-Southern Connecticut State made the score 5-1 on a goal by Denzel Dickerson at 15:40 in the third period, and M2 Trinity College got as close as 5-4 when Will Rogers scored 18:04 into the third period.

M3-Southern Connecticut State stifled M2 Trinity College's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The 32 shots that M3-Southern Connecticut State put on net surpassed M3-Southern Connecticut State's average of 4.8 shots per game this season.
