Scott Kohlhepp had two goals to lead M3-Fairfield University to a 6-3 victory over M3-Southern Connecticut State.

Kohlhepp's tallies came at 3:18 into the third period to make the score 3-3 and 3:46 into the third to make the score 4-3 M3-Fairfield University.

M3-Fairfield University pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 16 penalty minutes.

M3-Fairfield University's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on six M3-Southern Connecticut State power plays. M3-Fairfield University put 48 shots on net during the contest, more than the 0.4 it averages per game.
