Behind a great game by Eddie Russell, who had five goals and one assist, WC East defeated Downingtown West, 7-0.

Russell notched his first tally 4:19 into the first period. He then added goals at 7:57 into the first, at 8:17 into the first, at 6:58 into the second, and at 11:16 into the second.

WC East forced Downingtown West's netminders to work between the pipes, firing 44 shots and forcing 37 saves. Justin Kiefel made 32 stops and William Jennings made five.

WC East also got points from Richard Mullineaux, who also registered one goal and three assists and Ryan Rodier, who also finished with one goal and one assist. More assists for WC East came via Michael Eland, who had one, Billy Kyle, who had two, and Kevin Cleary, who had three.
