WC East relied on the scoring touch of Eddie Russell, who netted four goals, to beat Malvern Prep, 6-3.

Russell notched his first tally 18 seconds into the first period. He then added goals at 1:24 into the second, at 7:19 into the second, and at 8:39 into the second.

WC East could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 28 minutes in penalties during the game.

WC East also had goals scored by Kevin Cleary and Dylan McLaughlin, who each put in one. In addition, WC East received assists from Michael Eland, who had one and Chris Rodier, who had four.

Malvern Prep's defense was uncharacteristically lax during the game. Malvern Prep is averaging 2.5 goals against for the season.

Malvern Prep was helped by Kyle Washkalavitch, who had one goal. Washkalavitch scored 5:36 into the third period to make the score 5-3 WC East. Collin Gordinier assisted on the tally. Malvern Prep also got a goal from Gabriel Malek as well. More assists for Malvern Prep came via Charlie Andress and Skyler Davis, who each chipped in two.

Joe Stacy rejected 18 shots on goal for WC East. WC East registered one goal on three power play opportunities. Matthew Hollinsghead made 18 saves for Malvern Prep on 24 shots. Malvern Prep incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with three minors.
