Juliana nets hat trick, leads WC East to 9-3 win over WC Henderson

Christian Juliana netted a hat trick to lead WC East over WC Henderson, 9-3.

Juliana's first goal came 11:22 into the first period. He then added goals at 11:59 into the second and at 13:47 into the second.

WC East stifled WC Henderson's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. WC East forced WC Henderson goalie Kieran Green to work between the pipes, taking 40 shots. WC East surpassed its usual scoring output this season. This season, WC East averages 6.2 goals per contest. The defensemen of WC East were also effective in WC Henderson's zone, and came away with five goals.

WC East additionally got points from Michael Eland, who also had one goal and two assists and Chris Rodier, who also registered two goals and two assists. WC East also had goals scored by Eddie Russell, Chase Miller, and Zachary Mulholland, who each put in one. In addition, WC East received assists from Dylan McLaughlin, who had two and Billy Kyle and Cameron Cortese, who each chipped in one.

WC Henderson managed to stay out of the box better than usual, finishing with one minor for two minutes in penalty time. WC Henderson finished below its season average of 9.0 penalty minutes per game.

WC Henderson was led by Dylan Teeter, who finished with three goals. Other players who recorded assists for WC Henderson were Keith Reynolds and Jarrett Slear, who contributed one each.

WC East's Joey Galitski stopped 27 shots out of the 30 that he faced. WC East incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Green rejected 31 shots on goal for WC Henderson. WC Henderson registered zero goals on three power play opportunities.
