WC East relied on the scoring touch of Chris Rodier, who netted two goals, to beat St Josephs Prep, 5-2.

Rodier's tallies came at 2:21 into the first period to make the score 1-0 WC East and 7:44 into the second to make the score 3-1 WC East.

WC East also got points from Dylan McLaughlin, who also tallied two goals and one assist to lead the team in points. WC East also got a goal from Richard Mullineaux as well. In addition, WC East received assists from Shane Stefani, Cameron Cortese, Eddie Russell, Sergi Kern, and Zachary Mulholland, who contributed one each.

St Josephs Prep was helped by John Mctiernan, who racked up one goal. Mctiernan scored on the power play 12:35 into the first period to make the score 2-1 WC East. St Josephs Prep had taken the advantage when WC East's Russell got sent off for holding. Mark Centrella provided the assist. St Josephs Prep additionally got points from Centrella, who also had one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. More assists for St Josephs Prep came via Nicholas Urbani and Kyle Cissone, who each chipped in one.

WC East's Joey Galitski stopped 28 shots out of the 30 that he faced. WC East incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Alexandros Aslanidis took the loss and made 12 saves before being replaced by Bradley Smith who made three saves. St Josephs Prep incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
