Mullin's goals lift WC Bayard Rustin to 10-0 victory over Downingtown West

Behind a great game by Kyle Mullin, who had two goals, WC Bayard Rustin defeated Downingtown West, 10-0.

Mullin scored on the power play at 6:53 into the first period to make the score 1-0 WC Bayard Rustin and again while 1:54 into the second to make the score 3-0 WC Bayard Rustin.

WC Bayard Rustin's defense was surprisingly good. WC Bayard Rustin averages 2.3 goals allowed per game. WC Bayard Rustin bested its season scoring average. WC Bayard Rustin averages 5.6 goals per game.

WC Bayard Rustin also got points from Benjamin Meisinger, who also tallied two goals and one assist and Ian Strasinski, who also had three goals and two assists to lead the team in points. WC Bayard Rustin also got a goal from Brett Christie as well. In addition, WC Bayard Rustin received assists from Nicholas Ferraro, who had two, Joel Sheriko, who had three, and John Breznicky, Evan Burke, and Tommy Sloan, who contributed one each.

Downingtown West's offense operated below its season average. Downingtown West puts an average of 3.8 pucks into the net per game. WC Bayard Rustin's defense shut down Downingtown West's forwards for much of the game, and Downingtown West got off only 11 shots during the contest.
