Unionville survives St Josephs Prep comeback, wins 6-5IceLine Rink 2 Mon, Jan 04, 2016 St Josephs Prep tried its best to erase a two-goal deficit, but Unionville would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 6-5. Unionville made the score 6-4 on a goal by Danny Hargadon at 12:31 in the third period, and St Josephs Prep got as close as 6-5 when John Mctiernan scored 13:26 into the third period. With three goals and four assists between them, Joey Impagliazzo and Hargadon teamed up to power Unionville's offense. Impagliazzo tallied two goals and two assists and Hargadon also notched one goal and two assists. Unionville forced St Josephs Prep's goaltenders to work without much rest, taking 35 shots and forcing 29 saves. Shawn Joniec made eight stops and Bradley Smith made 21. Unionville also got points from Hargadon, who also had one goal and two assists and Ryan Hargadon, who also registered one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Unionville included John Hargadon and Aiden Masters, who scored one goal each. In addition, Unionville received assists from Cade Lenkaitis, who had one and Parker Wine and Tyler Glennon, who contributed two each. St Josephs Prep forced Unionville goalie Michael Hansen to work between the pipes, taking 32 shots. St Josephs Prep was led by Mark Centrella, who tallied two goals and two assists. Centrella scored the first of his two goals at 6:20 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Mctiernan assisted on the tally. Centrella's next tally made the score 2-1 St Josephs Prep with 4:31 left in the first period. St Josephs Prep additionally got points from Mctiernan, who also racked up one goal and one assist and Kyle Cissone, who also had two goals and one assist. More assists for St Josephs Prep came via Christopher Mayer, who had one. Hansen recorded 27 saves for Unionville. Unionville incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with two minors.
