Avon Grove beats Sun Valley 10-1 as Miller gets hat trick

Matt Miller lifted Avon Grove to a 10-1 victory with a hat trick against Sun Valley.

Miller got on the scoresheet 4:15 into the second period. He then added goals at 5:07 into the second and at 15:53 into the third.

Avon Grove kept Sun Valley's goalie busy throughout the game, and Nicholas Tkacz made 46 saves on 56 shots. Avon Grove outdid its season average for goals scored. Avon Grove averages 5.5 goals per game. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with three goals.

Avon Grove additionally got points from Kelvin DeFeo, who also racked up one goal and three assists, Ryan Hassiepen, who also had one goal and one assist, Brendan Harman, who also registered two goals and two assists, Ryan Nichol, who also tallied one goal and one assist, Joshua Sepela, who also had one goal and one assist, and Jake Beck, who also grabbed one goal and one assist.
