Dreisbach leads Kennett over Sun Valley, 7-4

Jack Dreisbach was all over the ice for Kennett, as he tallied two goals and two assists in Kennett's 7-4 win over Sun Valley.

Dreisbach found the back of the net nine seconds into the second period to make the score 2-1 Kennett and again while 4:40 into the second to make the score 3-1 Kennett.

Kennett excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances. Kennett kept Sun Valley's goalie busy throughout the game, and Nicholas Tkacz made 25 saves on 32 shots. Kennett's goal total was higher than its season average. Kennett has scored at the pace of 3.6 goals per game during the current campaign.

Kennett additionally got points from Jonathan Burns, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, Ryan Johnson, who also had two goals and one assist, and Taylor Cullen, who also registered one goal and one assist. Kennett also got a goal from Forest Gheen-Regouski as well. In addition, Kennett received assists from Pearce Rush, Nick Ferranto, Patrick ODowd, Connor Hyzny, and Drew Moskey, who each chipped in one.

Sun Valley was helped by Nicholas Malorgio, who finished with one goal. Malorgio scored 13:32 into the second period to make the score 4-2 Kennett. Eric DeLellis picked up the assist. Sun Valley also got points from DeLellis, who also grabbed one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Others who scored for Sun Valley included Steve Blaskovich and Garrett Johnson, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for Sun Valley were Dante Fantini, Kevin Cullen, Anthony Gonzalez, and Zachary Costa, who contributed one each.

Sean Edmonds made 20 saves for Kennett on 24 shots. Kennett incurred 32 minutes in penalty time with six minors. For Kennett, Mike Zirolli was ejected from the game. Sun Valley incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
