Daluisio leads Sun Valley over Interboro, 9-4

Behind a great game by Nicholas Daluisio, who had four goals and one assist, Sun Valley defeated Interboro, 9-4.

Daluisio got on the scoresheet 2:23 into the first period. He then added goals at 14:54 into the first, at 8:56 into the second, and at 9:38 into the second.

Interboro was unable to stop Sun Valley from sending pucks towards the net, and Sun Valley eventually piled up 31 shots on goal. Sun Valley surpassed its usual scoring output this season. Sun Valley averages 3.6 goals per game. The defensemen of Sun Valley were also effective in Interboro's zone, and came away with four goals. Sun Valley could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 52 minutes in penalties during the game.

Sun Valley also got points from Dante Fantini, who also registered one goal and one assist, Eric DeLellis, who also finished with three goals and one assist, and Nicholas Malorgio, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. In addition, Sun Valley received assists from Zachary Costa, who had two and Ryan DuBois, Lucas Summers, and Dylan Mokshefsky, who contributed one each.

Interboro was forced to rely heavily on their penalty kill unit throughout the game, as it racked up 54 penalty minutes.

Interboro was led by Stephen Schwartz, who had one goal and three assists. Schwartz scored 8:20 into the third period to make the score 9-4 Sun Valley. Interboro also got a goal from Kenny Keene as well. More assists for Interboro came via Jake Reifer, who had one.

Nicholas Tkacz made nine saves before being replaced by Matthew DiIorio, who took the win and made 12 saves. Sun Valley registered two goals on five power play opportunities. Matt Whitham recorded 22 saves for Interboro. Interboro registered one goal on four power play opportunities.
