Huge game by Lowe boosts Strath Haven over Marple Newtown, 9-3

Strath Haven's Ryan Lowe had a big offensive game, scoring four goals and contributing one assist in his team's 9-3 win over Marple Newtown.

Lowe notched his first tally 1:36 into the second period. He then added goals at 2:44 into the second, at 9:01 into the second, and at 13:21 into the third.

Marple Newtown was unable to stop Strath Haven from sending pucks towards the net, and Strath Haven eventually piled up 40 shots on goal.

Strath Haven additionally got points from Mike Irey, who also tallied two goals and two assists and Logan Simonian, who also had one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Strath Haven included Ryan Spanier and Johnny Stellabotte, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for Strath Haven were Andrew Chapman, Sean Volz, Grant Miller, and Connor Demo, who each chipped in one.

Marple Newtown found itself short handed often, totaling 16 penalty minutes and allowing eight power plays.

Marple Newtown was led by Ian Malarick, who registered three goals. More assists for Marple Newtown came via John Fino, who had one and Joseph Carafa, who had two.

Lukas Bernaus rejected 19 shots on goal for Strath Haven. Strath Haven incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Drew Moore recorded 31 saves for Marple Newtown. Marple Newtown registered one goal on five power play opportunities.
