Moore nets hat trick, leads Springford to 10-0 win over Methacton

Ryne Moore netted a hat trick to lead Springford over Methacton, 10-0.

Moore's first goal came 8:35 into the first period. He then added goals at 13:53 into the first and at 11:36 into the second.

Springford scored early and often, and held a 4-0 advantage after the first 20 minutes of play.

Springford kept Methacton's goalie busy throughout the game, and Shane Cassady made 42 saves on 52 shots. Springford's goal total was higher than its season average. Springford averages 6.3 goals per game.

Springford additionally got points from Joey Temoyan, who also grabbed two goals and one assist, Kevin Crist, who also had one goal and one assist, Justin Pasquine, who also racked up one goal and one assist, and Shayne Egleston, who also registered two goals and one assist. Springford also got a goal from Christian Graff as well. More assists for Springford came via Aidan Cooley, who had one and Brandon Ernst, Alex Barberini, Joseph Kearney, and Ryan Chesler, who contributed two each.

Methacton stifled Springford's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Methacton's offense was handcuffed by Springford's defensive play, and Methacton managed only three shots on goal during the game.

Matthew Magee recorded three saves for Springford. Springford incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with two minors. Methacton incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
