Early goals doom Archbishop Ryan, falls to Salesianum, 10-3Patriot Ice OLYMPIC Fri, Dec 11, 2015 Salesianum jumped out to a four-point advantage by the end of the first period and beat Archbishop Ryan, 10-3. Kyle Scott had two goals and two assists to lead Salesianum. Scott scored the first of his two goals at 1:05 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Salesianum. Fisher Sellers picked up the assist. Scott's next tally made the score 7-1 Salesianum with 17:34 left in the second period. Wil Lundstrom assisted on the tally. Salesianum forced Archbishop Ryan goalie Trevor Giwerowski to work between the pipes, taking 41 shots. Salesianum surpassed its usual scoring output this season. Salesianum averages 3.1 goals per game. The defensemen of Salesianum were also effective in Archbishop Ryan's zone, and came away with two goals. Salesianum additionally got points from Sellers, who also grabbed two goals and two assists, Lundstrom, who also had one goal and one assist, and Jeremy Dewit, who also registered one goal and two assists. Others who scored for Salesianum included Tyler Swift, who had two and Cameron Burke and Joseph DeFillipis, who each put in one. In addition, Archbishop Ryan received assists from Ryan Hearn and Tyler Giwerowski, who contributed one each. Justin Sierocinski recorded 26 saves for Salesianum. Salesianum incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Archbishop Ryan's Giwerowski stopped 31 shots out of the 41 that he faced.
