Downingtown East and Salesianum were evenly matched throughout their contest, but Downingtown East made the most of its opportunities and won, 4-2.

Neither team gained more than a two-goal lead, and Stephan Sizov's goal in the third period proved to be the difference maker.

Downingtown East put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Salesianum to score on any of its three power plays.
