Early goals doom Roman Catholic, falls to Boyertown, 9-2

Roman Catholic fell behind early, and Boyertown kept piling on the points on the way to a 9-2 victory.

Bransen Mackey had a great game for Boyertown, netting four goals. Mackey's first goal came 14:34 into the first period. He then added goals at 15:00 into the first, at 10:48 into the second, and at 15:59 into the third.

Roman Catholic's 12 penalties came back to haunt it, as Roman Catholic let up six goals while on the penalty kill.

Boyertown forced Roman Catholic's goalies to work hard to keep the puck out of the net, ripping 53 shots and forcing 44 saves. Gianni Ciccolone made 21 stops and Joseph Giacobbo made 23.
