Penncrest could not stop Ridley's Nick Catona, who tallied a hat trick in an 8-0 win.

Catona notched his first tally 3:28 into the first period. He then added goals at 13:54 into the second and at 14:29 into the third.

Ridley excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. Ridley forced Penncrest goalie Mark Dumont to work between the pipes, taking 36 shots.

Ridley also got points from Jake Cross, who also had two goals and one assist. Others who scored for Ridley included Colin McCann, Steven Rubillo, and Eric Miller, who each put in one. In addition, Ridley received assists from Michael Giampapa, who had five, Brett Dunning, Nate Dunning, and Nick Woods, who each chipped in one, and Michael Desio and Thomas Plotts, who contributed two each.

Penncrest did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season. Penncrest averages 4.2 goals per game.

Brendahn Brawley made 20 saves for Ridley on 20 shots. Ridley incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Dumont recorded 28 saves for Penncrest. Penncrest incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
