Miles' big game bests Harriton in 8-5 Radnor win

Behind a great game by Jack Miles, who had one goal and two assists, Radnor defeated Harriton, 8-5.

Miles got on the board by slotting home a goal 10:43 into the third period to make the score 7-5 Radnor. Jake Gross picked up the assist.

Radnor managed to stay out of the box better than usual, registering one minor for two minutes in penalty time. Radnor ended up below its season average of 8.0 penalty minutes per game. Radnor forced Harriton goalie Tomer Yaron to work between the pipes, taking 61 shots. Radnor found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. Radnor averages 4.3 goals per game. The defensemen of Radnor were also effective in Harriton's zone, and came away with two goals.

Radnor also had goals scored by Donald Sucher and Thomas Winnick, who scored two goals each and Jake Rader, Clayton Proctor, and Anthony Laudicina, who each put in one. In addition, Radnor received assists from Chris Winnick, who had three and Teddy Girton, Luke Winnick, and Andrew Cleek, who each chipped in two.

Harriton managed to stay out of the box better than usual, racking up one minor for two minutes in penalty time. Harriton finished below its season average of 6.0 penalty minutes per game. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with three goals.

Harriton was helped by Sam Kirby, who finished with three goals. Harriton additionally got points from Nick Wert, who also racked up two goals and two assists to lead the team in points. More assists for Harriton came via Joonas Knuutinen, who had one and Will DeVerter, who had two.

Radnor's starting goalie, Martin Connor, made 23 saves and finished with the win before he was taken out in favor of Tessa Landry, who stopped zero shots. Radnor registered zero goals on one power play opportunities. Harriton's Yaron stopped 53 shots out of the 61 that he faced. Harriton registered one goal on one power play opportunities.
