Conestoga erases deficit to stun Radnor, 6-5

Conestoga climbed out of a three-goal hole to beat Radnor, 6-5.

Conestoga let multiple leads slip away before eventually digging out of a three hole to pick up the win. Conestoga took a 5-4 advantage on a goal by Matt Cameron at 9:52 in the third period. Conestoga went down 4-1 after Radnor's Brandon Curtis put the puck home at 1:57 in the second period. After evening things up at 5-5 on a goal by Curtis at 11:15 in the third, Conestoga got the game-winner from Cameron at 15:48 in the third period.

Cameron had four goals and one assist to lead Conestoga. Cameron's first goal came 6:49 into the second period. He then added goals at 2:57 into the third.

Conestoga managed to stay out of the box better than usual, tallying one minor for two minutes in penalty time. Conestoga finished below its season average of 12.0 penalty minutes per game.

Conestoga also had goals scored by Mac Hamblett and Scott Macmillan, who scored one goal each. In addition, Conestoga received assists from Will Schnorr, who had two and Charlie Orr, Alex Lee, and Tate Kienzle, who contributed one each.

Radnor managed to stay out of the box better than usual, registering one minor for two minutes in penalty time. Radnor ended up below its season average of 9.0 penalty minutes per game.

Radnor additionally got points from Clayton Proctor, who also had one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Radnor included Patrick Scheri and Jack Miles, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for Radnor were Brad Burton, who had two and Donald Sucher and Andrew Cleek, who each chipped in one.

Luke Robbins made four saves before being replaced by Malcolm Roeder, who took the win and made 15 saves. Conestoga registered one goal on one power play opportunities. Martin Connor rejected 15 shots on goal for Radnor. Radnor registered zero goals on one power play opportunities.
