Huge game by Riddle boosts Springfield over Radnor, 11-6

Tyler Riddle was all over the ice for Springfield, as he tallied five goals and three assists in Springfield's 11-6 win over Radnor.

Riddle got on the scoresheet 5:09 into the first period. He then added goals at 9:32 into the first, at 6:31 into the second, at 8:34 into the second, and at 5:19 into the third.

Springfield forced Radnor's goalies to work between the pipes, racking up 36 shots and forcing 25 saves. Tessa Landry made five stops and Martin Connor made 20. Springfield outdid its season average for goals scored. This season, Springfield averages 8.3 goals per contest. Springfield took advantage of Radnor's penalties, tallying three goals off of four power play opportunities. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals.

Springfield also got points from Jim Schickling, who also had two goals and five assists and Kevin Brown, who also racked up two goals and one assist. Springfield also had goals scored by Aidan Smith and Joseph Cavaliere, who each put in one. In addition, Springfield received assists from Mark Rodgers, who had two, Andrew Astrino, who had four, and Nick Farese, Dan Barrett, and Steven Griffin, who contributed one each.

Radnor forced Springfield goalie Michael Gerzabek to work between the pipes, taking 31 shots. Radnor surpassed its usual scoring output this season. Radnor averages 2.7 goals per game. Radnor got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed three goals during the game.

Gerzabek rejected 25 shots on goal for Springfield. Springfield incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Radnor incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors.
