Penncrest takes care of Methacton early, wins 10-0Aston Ice Works Wed, Dec 23, 2015 A five-goal first period deficit cost Methacton, which could not recover and fell to Penncrest, 10-0. Austin Mazzulo was all over the ice for Penncrest, as he tallied one goal and two assists in the win. Mazzulo scored 3:05 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Penncrest. Matthew Dougherty picked up the assist. Penncrest's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Methacton power plays. Penncrest's offense rang up 62 shots on Methacton's net. Penncrest found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. Penncrest averages 4.7 goals per game. Penncrest additionally got points from Declan Casey, who also had one goal and one assist, Samuel Clapinson, who also finished with one goal and two assists, and Dougherty, who also racked up three goals and one assist to lead the team in points. Penncrest also had goals scored by Jake Olds, who had two and Jack Fletcher and Ryan Dumont, who scored one goal each.
