Penncrest's Matthew Dougherty had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing two assists in his team's 8-2 win over Harriton.

Dougherty scored at 2:49 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Penncrest and again while 4:41 into the first to make the score 3-0 Penncrest.

Penncrest's penalty kill excelled, as Penncrest gave up zero goals despite allowing six power plays.

Penncrest stifled Harriton's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Harriton was unable to stop Penncrest from sending pucks towards the net, and Penncrest eventually piled up 33 shots on goal. Penncrest surpassed its usual scoring output this season. Harriton could not produce up to its normal offensive output. Harriton puts an average of 4.8 pucks into the net per game. Harriton's offense was handcuffed by Penncrest's defensive play, and Harriton managed only 10 shots on goal during the game.
