Strath Haven takes care of Oxford early, wins 11-1

Strath Haven opened up a four-goal lead after the first period and did not look back en route to an 11-1 win over Oxford.

Ryan Spanier had four goals and two assists to lead Strath Haven. Spanier notched his first tally 1:51 into the first period. He then added goals at 4:55 into the first, at 5:06 into the second, and at 3:17 into the third.

Strath Haven bested its season scoring average. This season, Strath Haven averages 4.8 goals per contest. Strath Haven was effective with a man advantage, and put in two goals while on the power play. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with three goals.

Strath Haven additionally got points from Tony Koskinen, who also had two goals and two assists, Ryan Lowe, who also tallied one goal and two assists, and Logan Simonian, who also racked up one goal and three assists.
