Behind a great game by Zackery Mullen, who had four goals and one assist, Oxford defeated Appoquinimink, 8-5.

Mullen got on the scoresheet 6:23 into the first period. He then added goals at 12:29 into the first, at 3:15 into the second, and at 14:58 into the third.

Oxford managed to stay out of the box better than usual, totaling one minor for two minutes in penalty time. Oxford finished below its season average of 5.0 penalty minutes per game. Oxford bested its season scoring average. Oxford has scored at the pace of 3.2 goals per game during the current campaign.

Oxford also had goals scored by Zachary Balla, who had two and Ethan Dreisbach and Chase Stackhouse, who each put in one. In addition, Oxford received assists from Bradley Henry, Jared Giovan, and Jason Paul Maffei, who each chipped in one.

Appoquinimink put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Oxford to score on any of its four power plays. Appoquinimink got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed three goals during the game.

Appoquinimink was led by Dylan Frasher, who registered two goals and one assist. Frasher scored the first of his two goals at 6:37 into the third period to make the score 7-3 Oxford. Frasher's next tally made the score 7-5 Oxford with 7:22 left in the third period. Others who scored for Appoquinimink included Robby Macoy, Ryan Cressman, and Ryan Baccino, who scored one goal each. More assists for Appoquinimink came via Ryan Schwarz and Gavin Biddle, who contributed one each.

Ryan Snowden made 25 saves for Oxford on 30 shots. Appoquinimink's Default Goaltender stopped 16 shots out of the 24 that he faced. Appoquinimink incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
