Huge game by Mullen boosts Oxford over Interboro, 10-1

Zackery Mullen had four goals and four assists to lead Oxford to a 10-1 victory over Interboro.

Mullen got on the scoresheet 3:48 into the first period. He then added goals at 15:01 into the second, at 5:46 into the third, and at 10:45 into the third.

Oxford was led by goalie Ryan Snowden, who finished with 38 saves while allowing one goal. Snowden managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 3.44 prior to the game.

Oxford excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. Oxford bested its season scoring average. This season, Oxford averages 3.0 goals per contest. Oxford got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed four goals during the game.

Oxford also got points from Jared Giovan, who also registered one goal and two assists, Tyler Swick, who also grabbed two goals and two assists, and Zachary Balla, who also finished with one goal and two assists. Alexander Wehner also scored for Oxford. Other players who recorded assists for Oxford were Bradley Henry and Steven Thomas, who each chipped in one.

Interboro's offense rang up 39 shots on Oxford's net.
