Cullen lifts Kennett over Oxford, 3-1Patriot Ice NHL Mon, Nov 09, 2015 Taylor Cullen was all over the ice for Kennett, as he tallied two goals in Kennett's 3-1 win over Oxford. Cullen found the back of the net 12:28 into the first period to make the score 1-1 and again while 3:34 into the second to make the score 2-1 Kennett.Kennett's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Oxford power plays. Jack Dreisbach also scored for Kennett. In addition, Kennett received assists from Scott Dreisbach, Luke Borman, and Forest Gheen-Regouski, who each chipped in one. Oxford managed to stay out of the box better than usual, registering one minor for two minutes in penalty time. Oxford finished below its season average of 4.0 penalty minutes per game. Oxford did not challenge the opposing netminder, only getting 13 shots on net to force 12 saves. Oxford was led by Zackery Mullen, who scored the team's only goal. Mullen scored 7:13 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Oxford. Alexander Wehner picked up the assist. Sean Edmonds made 12 saves for Kennett on 13 shots. Kennett incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Oxford's Ryan Snowden stopped 25 shots out of the 27 that he faced.
