Shayne Egleston racked up two points to lead Springford to a 2-1 victory over Oxford.

Springford put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Oxford to score on any of its three power plays. Springford was held below its usual level of production. Springford averages 5.0 goals per game. Springford kept Oxford's goalie busy throughout the game, and Ryan Snowden made 39 saves on 41 shots.

Springford also got a goal from Christian Graff as well. In addition, Springford received assists from Damen Carty and Justin Pasquine, who each chipped in one.

Oxford excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances.

Oxford was led by Chase Stackhouse, who scored the team's only goal. Stackhouse scored 6:31 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Zackery Mullen picked up the assist.
