Radnor rolls over Methacton, 9-0IceLine Rink 1 Mon, Feb 01, 2016 Radnor had a six-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 9-0 win over Methacton. Radnor got the win thanks to a great game by Clayton Proctor, who had two goals and two assists. Proctor scored the first of his two goals at 11:18 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Radnor. Proctor's next tally made the score 3-0 Radnor with 8:19 left in the first period. Chris Winnick provided the assist. Radnor pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 12 penalty minutes. Radnor excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in six chances. Radnor kept Methacton's goalie busy throughout the game, and Shane Cassady made 42 saves on 51 shots. Radnor surpassed its usual scoring output this season. This season, Radnor averages 4.0 goals per contest. Radnor additionally got points from Donald Sucher, who also grabbed one goal and two assists. Radnor also had goals scored by Luke Jones and Brad Burton, who scored two goals each and Kevin Lowry and Thomas Winnick, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for Radnor were Jake Rader, who had two and Teddy Girton, David Azzarano, and Andrew Cleek, who each chipped in one. Methacton's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Radnor power plays. Methacton did not challenge the opposing netminder, only getting two shots on net to force two saves. Martin Connor rejected two shots on goal for Radnor. Methacton incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
