Keene's big game bests Methacton in 11-1 Interboro winCenter Ice Rink 2 Fri, Feb 12, 2016 Interboro's Kenny Keene had a big offensive game, scoring four goals and contributing four assists in his team's 11-1 win over Methacton. Keene notched his first tally 4:41 into the first period. He then added goals at 6:04 into the third, at 7:08 into the third, and at 9:08 into the third.Interboro's Matt Whitham was a brick wall in net, as he came up with 26 saves and let only one puck past him. Whitham certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 10.89 entering the contest. Interboro excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. Interboro's goal total was higher than its season average. Interboro averages 4.3 goals per game. Interboro also got points from Nicholas Daniels, who also tallied two goals and one assist, Shawn Flynn, who also racked up three goals and two assists, and Jake Reifer, who also had one goal and two assists. Interboro also got a goal from Joe Bucci as well. In addition, Interboro received assists from Kyle Oreskovich, Mason Orner, Leon Mcgeehan, and Kevin Oreskovich, who each chipped in one. Methacton's penalty box was a popular destination as the team totaled six minors and two majors for 42 minutes in penalty time. Methacton had been averaging 16.0 minutes in penalties per game. Interboro incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Shane Cassady made 16 saves for Methacton on 27 shots. Methacton ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Ryan Endlich was ejected from the game.
