Strath Haven's Ryan Lowe had a big offensive game, scoring four goals and contributing one assist in his team's 8-1 win over Marple Newtown.

Lowe got on the scoresheet 10:55 into the first period. He then added goals at 6:24 into the second, at 1:52 into the third, and at 9:53 into the third.

Strath Haven's penalty kill excelled, as Strath Haven gave up one goal despite allowing six power plays.

Marple Newtown put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Strath Haven to score on any of its six power plays. Marple Newtown was led by Anthony Giacobetti, who scored the team's only goal. Giacobetti scored on the power play 4:11 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Strath Haven. Matthew Merrone picked up the assist.

Strath Haven's Lukas Bernaus stopped 11 shots out of the 12 that he faced. Drew Moore made 18 saves for Marple Newtown on 26 shots.
