Marple Newtown fell behind early, and Haverford High kept piling on the points on the way to a 9-1 victory.

Haverford High got the win on the strength of a great game by Shane Moran, who had two goals and four assists. Moran scored the first of his two goals at 2:28 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Mitchell Estes provided the assist. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals.

Haverford High additionally got points from Frankie McVeigh, who also registered two goals and one assist, Kissinger, who also finished with one goal and two assists, and Dante Gattone, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Haverford High also got a goal from Brendan Daly as well. In addition, Haverford High received assists from Henry DeVoe, who had three.
