Tommy Sloan netted a hat trick to lead WC Bayard Rustin over Malvern Prep, 4-3.

Sloan notched his first tally 56 seconds into the first period. He then added goals at 4:25 into the first and at 9:25 into the third.

WC Bayard Rustin could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 14 minutes in penalties during the game.

WC Bayard Rustin also got a goal from Hayden Karnick as well. More assists for WC Bayard Rustin came via Brett Christie, who had two, Eric Flynn, who had three, and John Breznicky and Joel Sheriko, who each chipped in one.

Malvern Prep kept WC Bayard Rustin's goalie busy throughout the game, and Jason Grande made 31 saves on 34 shots.

Malvern Prep was led by Gabriel Malek, who finished with two goals. Malek scored the first of his two goals at 11:58 into the first period to make the score 2-1 WC Bayard Rustin. Nicholas Martino provided the assist. Malek's next tally made the score 2-2 with 15:03 left in the second period. Malvern Prep had taken the advantage when WC Bayard Rustin's Sloan got sent off for roughing. Joseph D Elia picked up the assist. Patrick Kavanaugh also scored for Malvern Prep. In addition, Malvern Prep received assists from Angelo Tedesco, who had one.
