La Salle could not stop Malvern Prep's Joey Abel, who tallied a hat trick in a 3-2 win.

Abel's first goal came 6:24 into the second period. He then added goals at 13:55 into the second and at 15:41 into the third.

In addition, Malvern Prep received assists from Nicholas Fantini, Gabriel Malek, Nicholas Martino, and James Bell, who each chipped in one.

La Salle was helped by Tyler Pohlig, who grabbed one goal. Pohlig scored 11:40 into the second period to make the score 2-1 La Salle. La Salle also got a goal from Jeffrey Gratz as well. More assists for La Salle came via Joseph Mancuso, who had one.

Malvern Prep incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. La Salle incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with two minors. For La Salle, Jack McDonough was ejected from the game.
