Early goals doom Unionville, falls to Malvern Prep, 8-0

A four-goal first period deficit cost Unionville, which could not recover and fell to Malvern Prep, 8-0.

Gabriel Malek had two goals and three assists to lead Malvern Prep. Malek scored the first of his two goals at 1:05 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Malvern Prep. Malek's next tally made the score 2-0 Malvern Prep with 16:27 left in the first period. James Bell picked up the assist.

Malvern Prep stifled Unionville's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.
