Lower Merion and Marple Newtown skate to 5-5 tieSkatium Mon, Feb 08, 2016 Behind three goals and one assist from Everhett Grimes and one goal and two assists from Cory Fraiman, Lower Merion drew with Marple Newtown 5-5. Marple Newtown was unable to stop Lower Merion from sending pucks towards the net, and Lower Merion eventually piled up 44 shots on goal. Lower Merion bested its season scoring average. Lower Merion has scored at the pace of 2.3 goals per game during the current campaign. Lower Merion additionally got points from Fraiman, who also tallied one goal and two assists. Jack Straton also scored for Lower Merion. In addition, Lower Merion received assists from Luc Legaspi, who had one. Marple Newtown forced Lower Merion goalie Justin Greenspan to work between the pipes, taking 40 shots. Marple Newtown found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season.
