Radnor beats Lower Merion 5-3 after comeback scare

Lower Merion tried to dig itself out of a three-goal hole, but Radnor held on for a 5-3 victory.

A goal by Brandon Curtis put Radnor up 5-2 in the third period, but Lower Merion pulled to within two on Will Ebby's tally 10:43 into the third period.

Radnor also got points from Donald Sucher, who also grabbed one goal and one assist and Luke Winnick, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Radnor included Patrick Scheri and Clayton Proctor, who each put in one. In addition, Radnor received assists from Anthony Laudicina, who had one.

Lower Merion managed to stay out of the box better than usual, finishing with one minor for two minutes in penalty time. Lower Merion wound up below its season average of 5.0 penalty minutes per game.

Lower Merion additionally got points from Everhett Grimes, who also registered one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Lower Merion also got a goal from Luc Legaspi as well. More assists for Lower Merion came via Anthony LePera, Jack Straton, and Jadon Hoffman, who each chipped in one.

Martin Connor rejected 15 shots on goal for Radnor. Radnor incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Justin Greenspan recorded 22 saves for Lower Merion. Lower Merion registered zero goals on two power play opportunities.
