Giampa's goals lift Father Judge to 11-1 victory over Lansdale Catholic

Matthew Giampa was all over the ice for Father Judge, as he tallied two goals in Father Judge's 11-1 win over Lansdale Catholic.

Giampa found the back of the net 3:55 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Father Judge and again while 4:34 into the first to make the score 3-1 Father Judge.

Father Judge bested its season scoring average. This season, Father Judge averages 3.9 goals per contest. Father Judge got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed four goals during the game.

Father Judge additionally got points from Thomas Perrone, who also had one goal and one assist, Henry Garant, who also registered one goal and one assist, and Eric Melso, who also grabbed two goals and three assists to lead the team in points. Others who scored for Father Judge included Zachary Vendetti, who had three and Justin Smith and Justin Anderson, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for Father Judge were Sean Paris and William Vishio, who each chipped in two.

Lansdale Catholic managed to stay out of the box better than usual, totaling one minor for two minutes in penalty time. Lansdale Catholic finished below its season average of 3.0 penalty minutes per game. Lansdale Catholic's offense was handcuffed by Father Judge's defensive play, and Lansdale Catholic managed only five shots on goal during the game.

Lansdale Catholic was led by Robert Schimony, who scored the team's only goal. Schimony scored 1:17 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Lansdale Catholic. Matthew Petusky picked up the assist.
