La Salle's Mancuso deadly on offense in 5-2 win against Salesianum

La Salle relied on the scoring touch of Joseph Mancuso, who netted two goals, to beat Salesianum, 5-2.

Mancuso's tallies came at 6:30 into the first period to make the score 2-0 La Salle and 8:20 into the second to make the score 3-1 La Salle.

La Salle kept Salesianum's goalie busy throughout the game, and Bobby Cathell made 35 saves on 40 shots.

La Salle also had goals scored by Michael DalFarra, Ryan Baker, and Henry Kaechelin, who scored one goal each. More assists for La Salle came via Jeffrey Gratz, who had two and Taylor Smith, Austin Master, and Matthew Clark, who each chipped in one.

Salesianum's offense was handcuffed by La Salle's defensive play, and Salesianum managed only 11 shots on goal during the game. Salesianum did not rack up many penalties in the contest, registering just one minor for 12 minutes in penalty time.

Salesianum was led by Tyler Swift, who tallied one goal. Swift scored on the power play 9:22 into the first period to make the score 2-1 La Salle. Salesianum had gotten the advantage when La Salle's Master was sent off for interference. Rece Bergeman provided the assist. Salesianum also got a goal from Fisher Sellers as well. In addition, Salesianum received assists from Devin LeBlanc, who had one.

Harrison Feeney recorded nine saves for La Salle. La Salle incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with two minors. Salesianum registered one goal on two power play opportunities.
